Lab and Diagnostics

Answers quickly, care immediately.

Waiting for test results can be stressful for you and your pet. Our in-house diagnostic lab delivers most results within thirty minutes, so we can start treatment the same day.

We perform complete blood counts, chemistry panels, urinalysis, faecal parasite tests, and skin and ear cytology on-site. Specialised tests like hormonal assays and histopathology are sent to accredited reference labs for next-day results.

Our imaging suite offers digital X-rays and ultrasounds for bones, chest, abdomen, and soft tissue. Ultrasound helps with pregnancy checks, heart assessments, abdominal organs, and guided sampling of suspicious lumps.

Diagnostics also support wellness care. Pre-surgical blood work ensures safety under anaesthesia, and senior pet panels help detect kidney, liver, or thyroid issues early.

Frequently asked questions

Why should my pet have blood work when healthy?
Wellness panels detect kidney, liver, thyroid, and blood issues early, especially important for senior pets or before surgery.
Does blood collection hurt?
It is a quick prick, similar to humans. Most pets tolerate it well, and we can use numbing cream for anxious animals.
How fast are results?
In-house tests are ready in fifteen to thirty minutes. Reference lab tests take one to three business days.
Can I get results sent to me?
Yes, we review them in person and can send a copy via email or WhatsApp for your records.
Does my pet need to fast before tests?
For most chemistry tests, fasting eight to twelve hours is recommended. Water is allowed. Instructions are provided when booking.
